Solar Plant: Take advantage by installing solar panels on the roof without money, the electricity of the house will be free

If we look at the Electricity Solar Rooftop Subsidy Scheme, then let us tell you that it has been considered as an important effort of the Government of India. Also, basically the purpose of the central government scheme has started promoting the use of solar energy in the whole country. So that every house can be illuminated.

solar panels

Solar panel is a group of many photo voltaic cells. This photovoltaic cell is arranged on a plate by connecting them in series and parallel order. And a glass casing is done on top of it. So that this cell is protected from the influence of the external environment and the effect of water.

This photo voltaic cell gives a very small amount of voltage. But when a number of cells are connected in series and in parallel, the value of its voltage increases.

Working principle of photo voltaic cell

Photo voltaic cells are made of semiconductor material. Semiconductor materials in nature are substances that absorb photons of solar light received from the Sun. A semiconductor material called SiO2 is used in photovoltaic cells. Although this semiconductor material is found in abundance in sand, but when it comes to taking it out of the sand, then this material becomes expensive.

This property of semiconductor material is that when light falls on it, it absorbs the photon particle of light and forms free electrons. These electrons are more excited and energized than the normal free electrons. That is, it has relatively more energy. These free electrons flow out or move in an electric field.

In a PV cell, the actions of light falling on the cell to the electric power received at the output can be divided into the following three parts.

1. In the first process, the photon is absorbed by the active part when light falls on it. And the free electrons get excited and acquire high potential energy.

2. In the second reaction, these excited electrons get attached to one edge and get deposited. This edge is the output terminal of the PV cell.

3. In the third step, when the terminal is connected to the load, then the free electrons of Gurjeet and high potential reach that road through the terminal and drive it i.e. that load.

Types of solar panels

There are mainly four types of solar panels available.
  • Monocrystalline Solar Panel
  • Polycrystalline Solar Panel
  • Passivated emitter and rear cell PERC
  • Thin Film Solar Panel

Monocrystalline Solar Panel:-

Monocrystalline solar panel is made by taking a single crystal of silicon and making a cell out of it. The purest amount of silicone is used in this. This is the reason why the color of Monocrystalline Solar Panel is very dark black. It is made from a single crystal. Therefore it is also called single crystal solar panel.

Polycrystalline Solar Panel:-

As we have read in mono crystal solar panels that a single type of silicon crystal is used in it. But in poly crystal, as the name suggests, different types of silicon crystals are used in it. In this, different types of silicon crystals are melted over a high temperature and molded into a rectangular mould. And in this way the wafer of the cell is prepared. There is no possibility of damage to the silk crystal in this. It is also used to replace the damaged silicon crystals in mono crystals.

Thin film solar panel:-

As the name suggests, this type of solar panel is made very thin so that it remains flexible. This panel does not require a frame. Because it needs to be flexible. This panel is lightweight as well as it can be fitted in any size size.

Passivated emitter and rear cell or PERC panel:-

Called PERC panel, it is an updated version of monocrystalline solar panel. In order to make the monocrystalline solar panel more efficient, the back part of the cell of this panel is coated with an inert material. This is called PERC Solar Panel.
