When the wrath of demonic powers and atrocities increased on the earth in Treta Yuga, Srihari was born as the child of King Dasharatha and mother Kaushalya. This day was the ninth of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. He put his whole life at stake to protect Dharma and to set an example of good conduct, he presented himself as an ideal man.
